auto-apply + stackable is a powerful combo
auto-applied + stackable promos layer automatically. "member discount" + "flash sale" both apply without the customer doing anything if you've configured both.

non-stackable promos still respect caps
if a customer types a stackable code on a cart that already has a non-stackable auto-applied promo, otter applies whichever one gives the bigger discount and tells the customer.
tip
be careful with stacking — three 20% off codes on the same invoice eats your margin fast. set min-subtotal limits to keep stacked discounts on cart sizes that can absorb them.
