post a progress update the customer can see

weekly progress posts in the customer's yaupon portal cut down on "how's it coming" calls. one photo and a one-paragraph note keeps them in the loop without picking up the phone.

    click "progress update" on the project

    the button sits at the top of the project view.

    drop in a photo and a short note

    one photo of the work in progress + one paragraph about what got done this week ("frame's up, finishing starts monday"). don't overthink it.

    save

    the post shows up in the customer's yaupon portal. they get an email letting them know there's a new update — they don't need to download anything to see it.

    tip

    post once a week even if not much changed. silence on a long build makes customers nervous. "materials are en route, frame work starts thursday" is a fine post.
