a coffee shop doesn't need a 90-day window — referrals close fast. a contractor or service business with longer sales cycles needs a longer window so a referral doesn't expire mid-quote.

what happens past the window
the click stops counting toward attribution. you can still log the conversion manually if you know the friend came from a referrer — armadillo trusts your judgment and lets you override the window when logging.
