text it, paste it in your follow-up email, or print it on a thank-you card. the public landing page lives at /armadillo-r/<code> — that's what the friend sees when they tap.
tip
the 8-character code is short on purpose — easy to read aloud and easy to type if someone re-shares it without the link.
