delete a post you don't want anymore

if a post is wrong, embarrassing, or just not what you meant — delete it. the cleaner alternative is flipping it back to draft so it's hidden but recoverable.

    open the post

    from the whippoorwill list.

    for a soft hide — flip status to draft

    the post stops showing on your magnolia site immediately. you can flip it back any time.

  3. 3

    for permanent deletion — tap the trash icon

    you'll be asked to confirm. once confirmed, the post is gone. external links to its slug will 404.

    tip

    for any post you're proud of, prefer hiding (back to draft) over deleting. urls that 404 are bad for seo, and you might want it back later.
