open whippoorwill
click "whippoorwill" in the sidebar. you'll see your existing posts (empty on first visit).

tap "new post"
give it a title. the slug — the part of the url after /blog/ — auto-generates from the title.

write in the rich-text editor
headings, bold, italics, lists, links — all work. don't worry about saving; whippoorwill autosaves every few seconds.

leave it as a draft for now
drafts stay private until you flip the status to published. you can have ten half-finished posts and none of them appear publicly.
tipshorter posts get read more often than long ones. one clear idea per post beats trying to cover everything.
