fix a wrong pay run total

if you logged the wrong gross or net (typo, copy-paste from the wrong field), open the pay run and edit. if it's already synced to sycamore, the journal entry updates with it.

    open the run from the dashboard

    click the row.

    edit any total

    gross wages, employer tax, net pay, employee count. save.

  3. 3

    re-sync if needed

    if the run was already synced, click sync-to-sycamore again — pecan updates the journal entry in place. idempotent.

    tip

    for a run you can't reconcile (you don't know what the right number is), reach out to your provider's support — gusto / patriot / rippling all show line-by-line breakdowns. don't guess.
