    set sources in marigold settings

    in marigold's settings, click "sources". add the channels you actually use — "google search", "facebook ad", "referral", "yard sign", "trade show". the list is yours to manage.

    pick a source on every new lead

    when you add a lead manually, the source dropdown is required. for leads that came from a marigold form, the source is set automatically by which form they used.

    report by source

    from the marigold dashboard, the "by source" view shows leads, conversions, and revenue per source. that's the report that tells you whether the facebook ad spend is paying off.

    tip

    less is more — five clear sources you'll actually use beat fifteen overlapping ones. "google ads" + "google search" might both be google but you want to know which one is converting.
