    set the barcode on the product or variant

    in the variants panel, each row has a barcode field. fill it in (upc, ean, or any custom code).

    from the picker, hit the scan button

    the catalog picker has a barcode-scan button. it opens the device camera (or a usb scanner can also work).

    scan

    the matching product (or variant) gets added to your picks tray. the rest of the line item flow is the same.
