set up a recurring job (weekly mowing, monthly cleaning)

for jobs that repeat on a schedule. set it up once and crawdad creates the next instance for you on the right day, with all the same details — customer, address, notes.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

create the first job as usual

build the job with full details — customer, address, notes, line items if you've got them.

  2. 2

    click "make recurring"

in the job's detail panel, click the recurrence button. pick a frequency (weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly) and a day of the week or month. the original job stays; future copies get scheduled automatically.

  3. 3

watch them appear on the calendar

open crawdad's calendar view — the recurring job appears every interval, color-coded so you can see the pattern. mark each one done as you finish; the next one stays scheduled.

    tip

for seasonal work that pauses (e.g. lawn care in winter), click "pause" on the recurring job instead of deleting. resume it in spring without re-entering the customer info.
