- 1
open bobwhite
from the app switcher. bobwhite is the time-tracking room — every punch (manual or punch-in/out) lives there.
- 2
start a punch with the crawdad job code
when you start a punch, pick the crawdad job from the job-code field. the hours you log are now tied back to that specific job.
- 3
stop the punch when the work is done
the entry posts to bobwhite with the start, stop, total minutes, and the job code. you (and the worker) can see it on the weekly approval view.
- 4
approved hours export to pecan
once you approve the week in bobwhite, the totals roll up to pecan for payroll. crawdad doesn't bill from time entries directly — pecan handles pay, and pawpaw handles the customer invoice separately.
tipthe older "log time" button on the job is gone. one room per job is the rule — bobwhite owns time, crawdad owns the work itself.
