void a card you issued by mistake

a void zeroes the balance and marks the card cancelled. used for the issue-by-mistake or the buyer-cancelled-and-you-refunded case.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

find the card on the dashboard

search by code, buyer name, or recipient name. open the row.

  2. 2

    click "void"

the button sits in the row's action area on hover. you'll get a confirm prompt because void can't be undone — once a card's balance is zeroed by void, it stays zero.

  3. 3

the card flips to status void

balance shows $0. the card no longer applies to invoices or counter redemptions. the dashboard's outstanding-balance total drops by what was on the card.

    tip

void doesn't refund the buyer — that's a separate action in pawpaw or stripe. void just stops the card from being usable. think of it as cancelling the gift, not refunding the money.
