scope an otter promo to specific services

for promos limited to certain services — "$10 off any haircut, but not products." mockingbird services can be picked into otter's restriction picker so the promo only fires when the cart includes them.

    tag the services that qualify

    no setup on the mockingbird side — the services need to exist with stable ids. they will once you've created them.

    create the promo in otter

    in the promo form, scroll to restrictions. tick the services from the picker.

  3. 3

    the customer redeems

    the discount only validates if the cart includes one of the picked services. the line items show which line(s) the discount applies to.

    tip

    for service categories rather than specific services, you'd tick every service in the category. there's no category-level filter yet — picks are individual.
