archive vs delete a service

archive hides the service from new pickers but keeps it on past invoices and quotes. delete removes it entirely — only safe if it was never used.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

archive when you might bring it back

seasonal services, temporarily-paused offerings — archive. they vanish from new pickers, past invoices stay intact.

  2. 2

delete when it was a typo

a service nobody ever used. the row is just clutter. delete is permanent.

  3. 3

if it's been picked, archive — never delete

mockingbird blocks deletion of services on past invoices or quotes. the safe move is always archive.

    tip

to clean up a long stale list, sort by recently-used. anything not picked in the last 6 months is a candidate to archive.
