change your wymzy.site subdomain

magnolia gave you a subdomain when you first opened the app. it's based on your business name, but you can rename it any time — the only constraint is it has to be unique across the platform.

    open magnolia settings

    from the site overview, click "settings."

    edit the slug

    type a new slug — letters, numbers, dashes only. magnolia checks availability live; if it's taken, it'll tell you.

    old links break

    if you've shared the old subdomain anywhere — printed cards, email signatures, social bios — those links stop working when you rename. only rename early or before you've shared the link widely.

    tip

    the cleaner option is a custom domain through heron — pick a domain you actually own (acme.com) and the wymzy subdomain becomes invisible to your customers.
