they type their full legal name, confirm their email, and check a confirmation box ("i agree to be bound by this document"). only then does the sign button fire.

the signing page flips to a confirmation state with a download link to the signed pdf. they can save a copy for their records.
tipthe typed-name signature + email confirmation + ip address + timestamp combo is what holds up legally. it's not a drawn-signature scribble — that's a different (less defensible) e-sign model.
