edit, pause, or delete a recurring schedule

for a vendor that changed terms (rent went up), a service you cancelled, or a seasonal pause. each schedule has edit + pause + delete from the row.

    open the fixed or variable tab

    find the schedule in the list.

    edit to change amount or cadence

    the edit dialog updates the schedule going forward. past entries stay at the old amount.

    pause vs delete

    pause stops katydid from posting the next cycle without deleting the schedule. delete removes the schedule outright; past entries stay on sycamore as audit history.

    tip

    for seasonal services (a tax-prep subscription you only use jan-april), pause beats delete. resume in january without re-typing everything.
