deactivate a worker who's no longer with you

when someone leaves the crew, deactivate them rather than deleting. their historical entries stay intact for payroll and audits, but they no longer show on the punch row.

  1. 1

    open the worker

    tap their card, then the edit icon.

  2. 2

    flip active off

    the worker disappears from the punch row but their entries stay in the timesheet for the windows they were active.

  3. 3

    reactivate any time

    if they come back next season, flip active on. their old entries pick up right where they left off.

    tip

    deletion is permanent and removes the entries — only delete when you've never paid the person and you're sure you won't need the records.
