the bluejay list has filter chips for category, status (synced / awaiting), and time window. the search box matches payee, memo, and external reference (check number, transaction id).

    filter by category

    click a category chip to narrow to one bucket. useful for "how much did i spend on supplies last month?"

    filter by sync status

    "awaiting sync" shows what hasn't posted to sycamore yet. "synced" shows everything that has. lets you tell at a glance whether your books are up-to-date.

    search by check number or memo

    type a check number, an amount, a memo phrase, or a vendor name. matches anywhere in the row.

    tip

    if you're hunting one specific payment from three months ago, sort by date desc and combine a payee filter with a date-range filter. usually narrows to one row in 5 seconds.
